With songs about the appeal of teen pregnancy, the angst behind Super Mario's happy plumber exterior, and one man's quest to pee in a public bathroom, Everything is Nice serves up stories of desperation and the search for love through a collection of new songs by composer Julia Meinwald. The workshop was directed by Alice Reagan, with music direction by Matt Vinson and performances by Susan Haefner, Lauren Worsham, Erin McCarson, Deanna Pacelli, Stephanie Weeks, Kelly Eubanks, Peter Judd, Mike Downing, and Dave Edson. Mini-Workshops is New Georges' primary play development program, giving artists of 3 to 5 rehearsals and one presentation, and bringing them one step closer to a fresh new play!
